I am concerned with thyroid cancers among Fukushima Children - PM Kan

Seminars that focus on ongoing lessons from Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear catastrophe as applied to the Indian Point and Pilgrim nuclear power stations were held in Boston (October 8) and New York (October 9). Speakers on the panel included former Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Dr. Gregory Jaczko; former NRC Commissioner Peter Bradford; and nuclear engineer, Arnie Gundersen, and former Prime Minister of Japan, Naoto kan. The speakers shared their perspectives on nuclear safety and the future of nuclear power before the public. Our member of WNSCR, Mariko, attended the both seminars.

Here is the recorded video of the seminars at Livestream media. Mr. Kan gives a speech at 04.04.42 (Boston video).
